Shilajit is a dark-coloured, resin-like substance found as rock deposits in the Caucasus, Altai and Himalayas. Mumio was already being used in Far Eastern medicine several thousand years ago. Shilajit contains humic acids found in soil and water, including fulvic acids, humic acids and humins, which provide numerous nutrients.
